| 🗓️ Day | Wednesday 3rd December 2025 |
| ⏰ Time | 18:26 |
| 🏟️ Course | Dunstall Park |
| 📍Location | Wolverhampton Racecourse, Wolverhampton, UK |
Dunstall Park is a shiny new greyhound racecourse which replaced the former Perry Barr Stadium in Birmingham, when it was forced to relocate in 2024. Now based within the grounds of Wolverhampton Racecourse, Dunstall Park Greyhounds is aiming to build on the legacy of the Perry Barr Stadium, which opened in 1929. So, while it is a new racecourse, which only opened in September this year, it is steeped in history, too. A sand-surface track, Dunstall Park hosts Category 1 race the Oaks and Category 2 competition, the Scurry Gold Cup.
Who are the 18:26 Dunstall Park greyhounds to watch out for?
There are six greyhounds racing in the 18:26 at Dunstall Park on Wednesday 3rd December. Let’s take a look at each of them.
Netherton Lad
- Runs: 7
- Wins: 0
- Win %: 0%
A relative newcomer to the track having only started racing in June of 2025, Netherton Lad has run four races at the Dunstall Park track, four of those coming out of trap one. Several of these races have finished in the top three. Trainer S W Deakin has an almost 20% win rate with greyhounds at this track. Our 18:26 Dunstall Park prediction for Netherton Lad is an each-way finish.
Sahara Sapphire
- Runs: 16
- Wins: 4
- Win %: 25%
Sahara Sapphire has been a regular runner at Perry Barr, since February 2025. However, this is only his second race at Dunstall Park over 270m. While he enjoyed several first place finishes at Perry Bar over 480m, his first race at Dunstall Park resulted in a disappointing fifth place finish. Trainer E J Blunt has an almost 20% success rate at this track. Sahara Sapphire’s 25% success rate makes them one to watch for our 18:26 Dunstall Park prediction.
Winaway Sweetie
- Runs: 2
- Wins: 0
- Win %: 0%
Winaway Sweetie only started racing in July 2025 and is yet to run a race at Dunstall Park, until now. Trainer S J Cull has a 10% win rate for their greyhounds at Dunstall Park, so I think it would be safe to consider Winaway Sweetie an outsider.
Captain Liamo
- Runs: 0
- Wins: 0
- Win %: 0%
Another greyhound from trainer E J Blunt, Captain Liamo is a dog that is new to racing. In fact, this will be his first race. As such, Captain Liamo is a complete unknown.
Blunty’s Blue Eye
- Runs: 0
- Wins: 0
- Win %: 0%
Blunty’s Blue Eye is a very young greyhound, again from trainer E J Blunt. This is Blunty’s Blue Eye’s first race, so it will be interesting to see how they fare.
Combination
- Runs: 87
- Wins: 14
- Win %: 16%
Combination is the eldest and most experienced greyhound on the track for this race. At 4 years old, he has run 87 races both at Perry Barr and Dunstall Park. While his win rate is a fairly decent 16%, Combination has seen mixed success over 270m and is yet to win a race at Dunstall Park. Could this race be the one? Prediction for the 18:26 at Dunstall Park on Wednesday 3rd December 2025
Looking at the statistics, our favourites to win the 18:26 race at Dunstall Park on Wednesday 3rd December are Sahara Sapphire and Combination. The other greyhounds running have not yet shown a positive race record. However, both Blunty’s Blue Eye and Captain Liamo are young dogs new to racing and as such are an unknown quantity and could cause an upset here. However, for our two favourites, Betting Exchanges are offering odds of 4/1 on Sahara Sapphire and 3/1 on Combination. As Sahara Sapphire has the higher percentage of race wins, we are going to plump for win rate over Combination’s vast experience and place our bets on Sahara Sapphire.
