EuroLeague: Anadolu Efes vs Crvena Zvezda 02/01/2026

Betting on Total Points
Anadolu Efes and Crvena Zvezda find themselves in a situation where a win is desperately needed, at least to temporarily put out the fire. The much tougher position belongs to the two-time EuroLeague champions, who have recorded just six wins after 18 rounds. Pablo Laso opened his tenure with a convincing victory in Kaunas, but that was followed by two very disappointing defeats that Efes could not afford – against Dubai and ASVEL.
Crvena Zvezda are generally in a better position with a 10–8 record, but four losses in their last five games clearly point to a drop in form. The team is currently nowhere near the level of play that saw them beat the best EuroLeague sides only a few weeks ago, during a run of seven consecutive victories.
Defense and physical play should be the main strengths of both teams. During that winning streak, Zvezda showed how dominant they can be when drawing energy from a solid and aggressive defensive approach, while Efes are only just entering that process under Pablo Laso.
Given the importance of this game for both sides, I do not expect free-flowing basketball, but rather a hard-fought battle, controlled offenses, and a tactical chess match between the two head coaches.
