Liverpool broke their streak of negative results with a 2-0 away win over West Ham. In the previous three matches they had three defeats with a total goal difference of 1-10. Slot left Salah out, reshuffled the attacking setup and it worked.
Sunderland continue their impressive run, managing to win 3-2 at home against Bournemouth despite going 0-2 down. They are level on points with Brighton in 5th place and are clearly the surprise package of this Premier League season.

Liverpool’s favoritism seems excessive. Winning against the weak West Ham does not mean they have overcome their crisis.
