Despite their problems, Lyon started the season strongly but disappointed with two straight losses that dropped them to fifth in the table. They remain solid and compact but may lack the depth needed to handle a demanding season across domestic and European competitions.

Both sides had European matches on Thursday, so fatigue should not be an issue. Strasbourg, however, is clearly the more athletic team and has more rotation options.

They once again present a very competitive squad — young, energetic, and capable of challenging technically superior opponents.

I think the odds should be much closer. Strasbourg is full of energy, has goal-scoring ability, and overall is not inferior to Lyon. At the current prices, the Asian +0.25 line looks worth taking.
