Genoa appear transformed after their coaching change. With Vieira on the bench, they had three draws and six defeats in nine league matches, with a total goal record of 4-13. Without him (one match under the interim coach and four under De Rossi), they have gone 3-2-0 with an 11-8 goal tally.

The team have significantly raised their performance level, they score with ease, and with strong morale they can trouble a clearly superior opponent.

Inter came off a mediocre performance and a “cold” 1-0 home defeat to Liverpool (via a heavy penalty in the 88th minute). That was their second straight Champions League loss, while in the league they have nine wins in their last eleven matches, losing only to Napoli and Milan.

Despite the fatigue and disappointment from Tuesday’s match, Inter are the logical favorite. However, the 1.50 offered on the away win may flatter them. Genoa are on the rise, in form, score easily, and look capable at the very least of contributing to the score.
