Watching Wrexham go through the leagues has, I have to admit, become quite fascinating for me. How they would do in the Championship was always of interest to me and many others. I always had the feeling that they would find their feet and at least stay up. They have done that apace however and are currently 14th, and I’m honestly starting to believe that they might even become an outside chance for a playoff bid. They have bought well, and the recent win over Coventry, the only team to have managed this so far, shows they can mix it with anyone in the division. Kieffer Moore is flying for his country and club and is my main man for an anytime goalscorer bet. Rovers have turned their season around after a truly terrible start to the season. They have won 4 of the last 5 and will be heading into this one in fine spirits. Blackburn won’t feel out of place in this match and will play a tight counter-attacking style and look pretty solid defensively. Up front, they have Andri Guðjohnsenthe son of the legendary former Eiður Guðjohnsen. He is a tricky little player with all his dad’s skills and pace to boot, and he is one of my favourite Championship players to watch in action.

The atmosphere at the Racecourse is electric on game days and this is why they have 4 wins in a row there. The fans are ecstatic every match and you are hard-pressed to find a ticket for any home tie currently. It gets the team so fired up and ready to go that I always fancy them to open the scoring. That you can get odds on this as high as 1.85 is worth a go on every home match.
