Champions League: Copenhagen vs Leverkusen 18/09/2025

Betting on Goals
Four Champions League matches in three days form a quartet of games worth betting on goals.
The midweek ends on Thursday — and so do my picks — with a matchup more balanced than it may appear at first glance.
Copenhagen is never an easy opponent, especially at home. The coaching change at Leverkusen doesn’t look “healthy,” especially for a German team; it seemed rushed, not necessarily because I believe in the sacked Ten Hag.
The “Aspirins” have changed dramatically since last year, losing coach Xabi Alonso and key players, so it was always going to be a difficult season.
The Danes always play attacking football at home and are very capable of troubling the visitors. I find it very likely that they will score. On the other hand, their defensive play will surely suffer, making it hard for them to keep a clean sheet.
I’ll take a bit more risk here, going beyond the simple BTTS, because the combined market improves the odds significantly.
