Premier League: Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth 18/10/2025

This is a match between two form teams who are both in European places at the moment, the Cherries up in 4th and Palace sitting 7th. Both sides have only lost once since in their opening 7 games. For Palace that was the last away match at Everton’s new Stadium. Bournemouth on the other hand lost to the red half of Merseyside in the opening game of the season. Antoine Semenyo has been in incredible form so far this season, which is good news for me as he is in my fantasy football team! He has scored 6 in 7 games and is a good pick for anytime scorer for the Cherries. If you want some higher odds Evanilson is also a danger man for Bournemouth in midfield. The Palace forward line seems to be coping despite the loss of Eze to Arsenal. Jean-Philippe Mateta and Senegal man Ismaïla Sarr have both hit 4 goals in all competitions this season. Both teams are going to be in high spirits coming into this one following the International break, and both have a fair few players who have been travelling the World to play important World Cup Qualifiers this weekend and midweek. Neither have suffered any injuries that I can see currently however from those matches and should both be free to field their strongest XI’s.

I am picking Palace to edge this one, they are always strong at home and their defence has been solid all season. Bournemouth have been a lot better on the road this term than last, but I just fancy Palace to see them off at home and I also think it will be more exciting than the two 0-0’s they played out last year, home and away.
