A crucial match for the top spot in the group and direct qualification, between teams currently level on points, though Croatia has one game in hand.
The Czech Republic, improved under coach Hasek for the past year and a half, wants to challenge the favorite for first place and must aim only for victory.

Croatia, as usual, handles the qualification stage very well but has not yet “finished the job.”
Dalic’s Croatians once again have a competitive team — without the big stars of the past, but still strong defensively and with an attacking plan that pays off so far, with Kramaric (6 goals) as the main threat. They like to win without conceding, but in this match, I expect them to be pressured by the home side.

Four months ago, Croatia crushed the Czech Republic 5-1 at home, and overall, they have the upper hand in their head-to-head meetings. However, all recent games between them have seen both teams scoring.
