PAOK kicks off this week for the Greek teams in Europe. The match against Maccabi Tel Aviv comes with special circumstances tied to the visitors’ country, Israel. Several PAOK supporters, through a public statement, have called Maccabi “unwelcome” in Toumba and are preparing demonstrations. That’s one aspect of the game. The other has to do with PAOK’s form.
