The Wrexham Hollywood roadshow rolls into the Potteries on Saturday as two sides at different ends of the table go head to head. Ryan Reynolds will likely find the cold of Stoke in Autumn a long way from the heat of Hollywood! Stoke are currently in 4th and flying high with 4 wins from 9 and only 2 defeats. These came in their five games, though, and since then form has been poor with a loss and 3 consecutive draws. Welshman Sorba Thomas is my pick for a Stoke goalscorer, especially being on home turf of sorts. Million Manhoef is also worth a look and has 3 already this season. Wrexham head into this one on the back of 3 draws as well and after a shaky start they are beginning to find their feet at Championship level. They are also still in the EFL Cup and gained an exciting home tie with Cardiff City in the last 16 of the competition which is scheduled in 2 weeks’ time. There is a strong Welsh contingent in the squad and both Nathan Broadhead (Who scored in Wale’s loss to Belgium) and Kieffer Moore have a good chance of getting on the scoresheet. Josh Windass is also a dangerman upfront while Sam Smith is looking stronger with every substitute appearance and might be a decent anytime goalscorer chance.

Wrexham look capable of scoring every week, and have done just that in every match they have played so far this season, including the EFL Cup. They have only managed to keep 2 clean sheets in those games, however. Stoke have been a bit tighter at the back but have only failed to score in one game themselves.so at odds of over 1.8 it is more than worth backing this trend to continue on Saturday.
