ABA League: Zadar vs Spartak Subotica 25/10/2025

Betting on Total Points
After a surprising away win against Crvena Zvezda, Zadar has fallen into a mini crisis, suffering two consecutive defeats. The more painful one came against competition debutant Ilirija, who celebrated an 85–83 victory. Zadar squandered a 10-point lead in the final quarter, mainly due to poor offensive execution — they scored only 11 points in that period. A week later, facing another Slovenian side, Cedevita Olimpija, they stood no chance and suffered a heavy 97–72 defeat. It’s clear that the team’s form has declined and they’ll need to significantly raise their level of play to end this negative streak.
On the other hand, Spartak Subotica has a perfect record — two wins from two games. After a major victory in Podgorica against Budućnost, Vlada Jovanović’s team comfortably defeated Vienna 79–66. In a game that lacked much beauty, Jovanović distributed the minutes evenly among his players, with Igor Drobnjak standing out — he scored 21 points in just 21 minutes on the court, finishing as the game’s top scorer.
Zadar has been playing with almost the same core for several seasons, known for its physically demanding style and solid defense. To get back on the winning track, they’ll have to return to their trademark approach — aggressive play and defensive discipline. It’s worth noting that both of last season’s matchups between these teams were defense-oriented and low-scoring, so a similar scenario can be expected this time as well.
The total points line is set quite high, and considering the playing styles and current form of both sides, the “under” option carries very good value.
