Premier League: West Ham vs Brentford 20/10/2025

Betting on Winner
It is another London derby in the Premier League on Monday night, although this one is not one of the most keenly contested in terms of rivalry. West Ham parted company with manager Graham Potter after one win in six in all competitions. They replaced him with Nuno Santos, who worked miracles when in charge of Forest over two seasons, nearly taking them to the Champions League. There is the usual new manager feelgood factor around the club since he came in, and he has overseen a draw away at Everton and a tight loss to Arsenal. Keep your eye on Callum Wilson or the skillful Lucas Paquetá as goalscorers for the Hammers. Keith Andrews at Brentford has a tough act to follow from their departed coach Thomas Frank. In his first managerial role he has got the team 2 wins and a draw in 4 home matches against Villa, Chelsea and Man Utd. However away from home Brentford have lost to Forest, Sunderland and Fulham, so there is work to do on his tactics away from the Brentford Community Stadium. It is also worth noting though that BTTS yes has come up in all those away matches. In terms of goals, Brentford have Igor Thiago up front and he has already hit 4 goals in 7 games. Kevin Schade might be worth a look as an anytime scorer as well.
I just do not think West Ham can continue to be as bad as they have been in recent weeks while Brentford are not the same team away from home. The hammers also look a slightly different animal when they are playing against fellow Londoners. Get behind them to see off the bees over at 22Bet with odds just under 2.5.
