What Makes Craig an Expert?
I was introduced to the igaming world in the early 2000s, where I first learned and made a profit from Matched Betting. Over the next decade, I was involved in sports betting in some way or another. This included writing numerous reviews of 100s of sports betting sites around the world, back when you could have an account almost anywhere. At the peak, I had accounts with over 200 bookmakers. I worked during this time running the Thegamblingtimes (TGT) fivers scheme, writing reviews of casinos, as well as helping manage the forum. My main job was to find new sportsbooks, join them, test them and then write a review and guide if we felt they would be a good addition to TGT. I also helped manage the affiliate side of the TGT dealing with the reports, tracing the FTDs and crediting the appropriate clients. I have seen the business from various different sides, not just as a bettor. When the TGT was sold i stepped away from working in the industry for a few years but continued to gamble (profitably) part time. In the early 2020s I researched UK betting sites for the website Legalbet.uk. Since 2024 I have been writing a variety of articles, including casino and sportsbook reviews, guides on different betting types, and prediction articles.
