BillyBets is a 2024 addition to the online sports betting market, bringing a simple UI, fair bonuses, and decent odds. This bookmaker supports over 45 sports markets and offers up to 3,000 betting markets for the most popular leagues. Our BillyBets Andorra review has all the essentials about this brand.
BillyBets is a newly launched bookmaker with a license from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation. The brand is part of Boomerang Partners and is powered by iGate, a well-known White Label Solution for online casinos and sportsbooks.
BillyBets is owned by New Wave Infotech, a company with an offshore license issued by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation with license number 22-0025. While PAGCOR isn’t as famous as MGA or UKGC for licensing, it still makes BillyBets a legal bookmaker.
BillyBets ticks the necessary boxes for your online safety. The site has an active SSL certificate issued in June 2024 and requires a mandatory KYC procedure for withdrawals for all members. Moreover, the platform’s payments are handled by third-party gateways, ensuring the safety of your funds.
However, we’d like to note that this is a recently launched site, so we’ll keep tabs on it and update for any potential issues.
BillyBets has a lot in store for both newly registered bettors and existing members, even though the bonuses aren’t exactly what you’d expect from a sportsbook. Instead of no deposits and bonus bets, here you’ll find deposit matches, cashbacks, and the usual parlay boosts. Below is our promo overview for BillyBets sports fans:
The sports betting bonus is a 100% match up to €100 on your first deposit. The rollover is 6x, which we find to be high, not to mention that they apply to both the deposit and bonus amount. The rest of the terms are standard — the minimum deposit is €20, the maximum bet is €50, and you’ve got 30 days to clear the playthroughs.
Besides the welcome bonus, as a regular user, you can also enjoy:
The VIP Club has 5 levels—the higher your level, the more perks you get. This is the overview:
As you can see, the VIP doesn’t seem to be developed much, but since the sportsbook has just launched, we’ll give it time.
Creating an account with BillyBets takes less than 2 minutes. Here’s how it’s done:
You can bank with debit/credit cards, crypto and bank transfers. The lack of e-wallets is surprising, to say the least, but the available cryptocurrencies fill in the gaps. In fact, we suggest you use crypto because you can deposit with Mastercard, but can only withdraw through Visa, which only means you’ll have to go through the proof of payment process twice. Or, according to customer service, your only option in that case may be a direct bank transfer.
The cashier limits seem fair. The minimum deposit limit is €20 for all available methods except Bitcoin, which is €30. The same goes for the minimum withdrawal limit, except Bitcoin, which is €60. The maximum deposit and withdrawal limits are €5,000, with the exception of Mastercard for deposits, being limited to €2,000.
The minimum bet without bonus funds is €0.5.
As BillyBets is new to the market, we didn’t expect to see such extensive sports coverage. Players can enjoy over 45 sports, including:
Our team also likes the clean user interface. It’s easy to switch between sports, live sports, and virtual sports — you can do it with a click of a button. Changing up the sports categories is just as easy, and it’s great that there are 2,000+ picks per game, including a variety of props.
The Live games are clearly labelled, and if you can’t find something, you can just use the search bar to get there faster. If you’ve found your pick, just tap on it, and the betslip will pop up.
We were actually thrilled to see that you can livestream games, too, and with a single click. This is a great feature, as most brands keep this feature under a paywall.
Live betting is available, and so is live streaming. This feature gets its own category, with the most popular sports being football, tennis, basketball, and volleyball. Your main betting options include bet builders, fast markets, extras, 2nd half, and combinations.
Keep in mind you can only use an early cash out for a 1×2 market and if you’ve placed the bet before the match started.
BillyBets has dedicated 3 whole sections to its casino — casino, live casino, and jackpots. You’ll find over 10,000 casino games, which is more than we’ve seen anywhere else. The list of software providers counts more than 100 entries, and we’re talking about popular names such as NetEnt, Microgaming, Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, and Yggdrasil.
You can play:
The only thing that’s missing in this huge lobby are the progressive jackpots, but we’re positive they’ll be added soon.
BillyBets doesn’t have native mobile apps, and it doesn’t need them, either. The casino does provide a guide on how you can bookmark the platform to your home screen, regardless if you’re an Android or an iOS user. This way, you will have instant access to the casino, and it won’t be taking up any space on your phone.
The mobile site works great — the full gaming lobby is there, all sports betting markets are available, and there are no glitches. We recommend using Safari or Google Chrome for the best experience.
It’s safe to say that BillyBets has fair sports margins, especially when we consider that it’s a new bookmaker and that it provides an abundance of options. We were happy to see low margins for popular markets such as football and basketball. Considering that the market average is around 4%, we’re pretty happy with the 2% and 3% profit margins.
However, as you go into deeper waters, i.e., less popular markets or leagues, you can expect the bookmaker’s profit margin to be around 8%. This is pretty nice, too, since most sportsbooks round up at 10%.
Note: The margins were calculated from a small random sample and can vary.
We contacted customer support while testing the site a couple of times. Our team was satisfied with the live chat agents — they replied within 3 minutes, sometimes instantly, and were extensive and helpful. We really liked that there are no automated bots that give basic replies and that you can see your queue position.
However, we cannot say the same about e-mail correspondence. The first mail arrived within 24 hours, but it took more than that to get a reply to our follow-up questions.
We also checked the help centre, which is neatly categorised but a bit too basic in some sections. Therefore, the only actual downside of the customer support centre is the lack of phone support.
The brand has just gone online, so we weren’t expecting to find any awards or recognitions. But we still searched for any user feedback, and we can report that we didn’t find anything — not positive or negative. We’ll make sure to keep you posted on this one.
Our team agrees that it’s really simple to register an account as well as navigate the site. We do find the sportsbook to be better organised than the casino, though. The mobile site works just as well on desktop, and we didn’t experience any issues while placing bets.
A responsible gambling policy does exist, but we couldn’t find any responsible betting tools or limits, which is a shame.
Your only option for a self-exclusion is to contact customer support via email at support@billybets.com, and they’ll close your account within 24 hours. If you feel like you need help, you can reach out to the following organisations:
On the plus side, the company does take measures to protect underage players via KYC checks.
