As a new operator, BillyBets have yet to earn or be nominated for any industry awards. We haven’t found any evidence or claims of any rule breaks or other legal issues.
The BillyBets site is full of information, yet doesn’t at all appear too busy or crowded. The main Menu is located on the left hand side, from which you can choose which facility you want to bet in – Sports, Casino or Live Casino.
Click the Sports icon to enter the sportsbook. The homepage features Top Leagues on the left hand side, with a menu where customers can choose a time and date range underneath. Across the top of the page you’ll find odds on the most popular upcoming fixtures. Under this, you’ll find the latest Boosted Odds offers. The rest of the page features separate Live Now and Upcoming menus, which can be incredibly useful when you’re planning your bets.
There is a Search function available which can be found under the Top Leagues menu. If you’re looking for a particular sport, the All Sports or A-Z menus might be more useful.
Mobile betting is an option for BillyBets customers. There’s no dedicated Sports betting app available, but visit the site using your mobile browser for an optimised experience. The mobile version, though, does require a lot of scrolling as each section is displayed under the previous one, rather than set nicely next to each other. However, this is to be expected as the main homepage contains a huge amount of information.
Making deposits and requesting withdrawals is easy to do. Click on the Coin icon in the top right of the screen to open up the payments page. We’ll go into more detail on how to make deposits and withdrawals a little later in this review.
We spent a good amount of time working through the BillyBets site, visiting each betting menu. We didn’t encounter any issues with our experience. Loading times between pages were incredibly quick, even with their Live Betting facility.

During our research, we couldn’t find any maximum bet limits or payouts stated. There is, though, a max win cash out rule attached to the welcome bonus but this only applies to non-Switzerland residents.
Cash Out might be an option. To see if your bet is eligible for Cash Out, open your betting slip while the event you’ve bet on is taking place. If your bet is eligible, this will be displayed.

As we touched upon, there are a range of existing customer promotions available once you’ve created your BillyBets account. The variety is impressive, with different types of offers available. While these promotions can change, they do give a good idea of the types of promotions BillyBets offer.
Each offer is a standalone offer, in other words they can’t be used in conjunction with any other promotion available.
There is a VIP option, though this is aimed at Casino customers. Similarly, there is a Bonus Crab promo, where customers can buy or earn Bonus Crabs to exchange for prizes in the Casino.

Wagering requirements are typically rare in sports betting, but at BillyBets a number of their promotions come with these requirements. As we’ve seen, the welcome offer has rollover requirements attached. In addition, the current promotion Sports Weekly Reload Bonus has rollover requirements that need to be met in order to release the bonus amount. If you don’t meet these requirements before the time stated, it’s likely you’ll forfeit the bonus amount.
For example, for the BillyBets welcome offer, a 6x wagering requirement of the bonus plus the deposit amount applies.
In terms of the amount you have to use your bonus funds can also vary. Expect bonus funds to be valid for between 7 and 30 days, but it’s important to check the specific terms of the offer you’re taking.

There currently isn’t a dedicated BillyBets sports betting app available. Instead, customers can visit the site using their mobile browser. However, confusingly there is a Get App icon on the mobile version of the site. Click on this, though, and customers are given instructions on how to add the site to the mobile homepage, rather than a link to an actual app. Having spoken to customer service, they confirmed there’s no betting app currently available for download.
The mobile site, however, works quite well. It is rather busy and isn’t laid out as nicely as the desktop site, though this is to be expected with so much information needed to be displayed. You’ll be scrolling a while to find all aspects of the mobile site, but this is a minor issue.
In-play betting and live streaming are available using your mobile browser.
Push notifications are available if you choose to accept them. These can be accepted or refused through your mobile device’s settings.
While the desktop site is our preference, the mobile version of the site still works well. Loading times are as quick as the desktop site and making deposits and withdrawals is just as easy. The major difference for us was in the live streaming facility. It took over five minutes on our mobile device for the stream to load, whereas the desktop version took a mere matter of seconds.

As a reasonably new operator, there are very few user reviews of BillyBets. There doesn’t appear to be any official social media channels available to view.
After conducting research on review sites, we found that BillyBets performed well, in particular with reference to their customer service. This is something we agree on, too, after receiving excellent support from the agents we dealt with. All of the reviews we found were based on the BillyBets Casino, rather than the Sportsbook.
We couldn’t find any negative ratings or reviews about BillyBets surrounding any technical problems or payout times.
BillyBets are yet to win any industry awards, which isn’t surprising considering how new to the scene they are.

We’re impressed with what BillyBets have to offer. Betting margins across a number of sports are attractive, with most sports and events boasting a good range of separate betting markets.
The desktop site is visually different to many other sites we’ve come across, but it still works well. Navigation through the site is simple and it’s easy to place bets.
There is a good number of deposit and withdrawal methods available to choose from. Minimum and maximum limits are generally similar to other Swiss betting sites. We also like the fact that no fees are charged using any of the methods available.
There are fewer sports to choose from at BillyBets than what we’ve found at other sites. However, they do offer odds on sports we rarely find elsewhere, such as Short Football and Cross Cycling.
There isn’t a mobile app for the Sportsbook currently available, but the mobile version of the desktop site works really well.
We’re also happy with the range of in-play betting options, along with access to live streams.
The VIP programme is catered towards Casino customers, but Sportsbook bettors do still receive numerous betting promotions that are available to use on a number of sports.
It’s fair to say we’re pretty happy with what BillyBets provides bettors in Switzerland – a comprehensive Sportsbook sure to impress a wide variety of customers.
