Coral Mobile App Review Ireland: Sports & Casino iOS App

Where there is a question of mobile compatibility, comes the question of mobile apps. The focus sportsbook of our topic today, Coral offers downloadable apps for both operating systems. Of course, we mean Android and iOS users.

Although there are more operating systems in the world other than these two, they are the most widely used ones. It’s the same reason you see all apps in either Android or iOS versions.

Let’s not argue over the OS anymore. Because it’s time to get to the point of today’s post, the Coral iOS app. Coral is a very well-known bookmaker in Ireland. It started its online sportsbook services back in 2016 and the userbase is increasing by the day.

Coral iOS App User Experience

When you first download the app on your Apple device, you’ll notice that the app is relatively large. Just over 42 megabytes to be precise. When compared to the 13 megabytes of the Android app, it looks like the iOS variant has some serious features packed in.

In reality, that’s not the case. The development processes of Android and iOS apps are very different. iOS requires lots and lots of runtime libraries incorporated right in the code of the app. As a result, the same app for Android and iSO will differ in size, iOS being the heavier one.

So, there’s no reason for you to get excited. Or, to feel demotivated. Because if you’ve read our review of the Coral Android app, you may already know how awesome the compatibility is. You can expect the same level of inclusiveness and optimisation from the iOS app as well.

As long as your device is up to date, the app will perform extremely well. It’s older device users that may run into optimisation issues. It’s because Apple is constantly releasing updates for its devices. So, bookmakers like Coral also keep the app updated.

The visuals inside the app are pretty much identical to the mobile website. You get all the featured matches and events on the homepage. Just look at the top and swipe left and right. You can also tap on the classic main menu (three horizontal lines) to expose the different features of the app.

It includes the switch between pre-match bets and live bets. Live betting is labeled as “in-play”. If you tap on it, you’ll be redirected to the main page where Coral has all the live events with changing odds in real-time.

A lot of the events also come with live streaming. On the main interface, you should see a tab labeled “Watch Live”. All events under this tab offer live streaming! The only catch to watching them is that you must be logged into your account.

Sports Markets

If you can think of a major sport from anywhere in the world, there’s a strong chance Coral has betting markets on it. From the bottom section of the screen, you can tap on the All Sports tab to gauge your options before you start betting.

Biathlon, eSports, Darts, Curling, Golf, Greyhounds, Lotto, News & Blogs, Politics, Rugby League, slots, speedway, tennis, MMA, virtual sports, etc. are only some of the available sports at Cora Ireland. You can tap on any of the sports to get all the markets offered under them.

How to Download the App

  1. Go to the sports.coral.co.uk website and start scrolling. When you’re on the bottom section of the website, stop.
  2. You should see two black buttons on the footer. One is for the Android app download while the other one is for the iOS app download. Tap on the iOS button to go to the Apple store page. It’s better if you do this step from your mobile device. Otherwise, you’d have to change devices later.
  3. Let the app download and install. Make sure your device has enough space before you start the download. Because you already know that the app is larger than the Android counterpart.

Wrapping Up

You don’t come across a bookmaker like Coral every day. An operator so generous yet so functional only comes every 100 years. Which is the age Coral is reaching very soon! Nonetheless, the online compatibility of the website and the app is amazing. The iOS app might be a bit heavier but it has all the modern functionalities you need.
