Betting on first half goals

The most distinctive element of this year’s AEK (so far) is instability. They gave a lot during the summer qualifiers to reach the group stage, and now they’re still finding their rhythm. In their previous home game in the Conference League, they demolished Aberdeen — they took full advantage, as we say. Then came an easy defeat to Olympiakos, two narrow wins, and now they host Shamrock. Practically the same as Aberdeen.

I think AEK will look for an outburst in front of their fans, and the Irish will only hold on if they manage to get the yellow-and-blacks drunk.
I’ll take a first-half bet here, Asian AEK -1 in the first 45 minutes. If AEK leads by one goal at halftime, I just watch the washing machine spin (money back). If they lead by more than one, I buy a washing machine… uh, I mean, I win.
