While Lara heads into this fight as the clear underdog, it’s important to remember the class and quality he still possesses. His overall record is excellent, winning 31 of his 37 professional fights. The worry is, though, that it’s been over a year since Lara last fought, so it will be interesting to see if ring rust plays a part in this one.

Of his 31 wins, 19 have come by way of Knockout. In his last outing, he beat Danny Garcia by TKO in Round 9 to win the WBA World Championship belt, one that is on the line as he faces Alimkhanuly.
