Bundesliga: Bayer Leverkusen – Eintracht Frankfurt 12/09/25

This has been a marked match for quite some time now, but damn that international break… If it hadn’t intervened, it would have been a big bet. But you see, Leverkusen’s management “woke up” quickly and sent Henk ten Cate packing. A coaching change at Bayer – and that’s always a double-edged sword in betting terms.
There used to be this unwritten rule: “new coach, guaranteed win.” At least that was the widespread belief. I highly doubt it was ever truly valid, but it doesn’t concern me much. Naturally, a change on the bench can trigger a reaction in a team that just can’t get going. But there are no magic recipes.
And Leverkusen is a completely different team compared to last year, since many key players left and the newcomers need time. Eintracht, as a friend of mine who follows German football exclusively told me, is a solid and very good side. Even though I don’t particularly love the Bundesliga, I took Eintracht mainly at +0.5 and a little at +0.25. My main bet is +0.5 at 1.70, but the odds have already dropped sharply. So the pick is +0.25 at 1.95.
