Champions League: Bayern Munich vs Chelsea 17/09/2025

Betting on Winner and Goals
One of the most exciting duels of the Champions League opening round – a clash of two former European champions. Bayern Munich enters the new season with huge ambitions and has already demonstrated their power. They started with five consecutive victories, scoring as many as 19 goals. Their latest victim was Hamburger, who left the Allianz Arena with five goals in their net. The attacking quartet of Kane-Diaz-Gnabry-Olise looks unstoppable so far, and the addition of newcomer Nicolas Jackson brings even more depth to their offense, making the Bavarians one of the main contenders for the very top.
On the other side, Chelsea began the season facing serious injury problems. New striker Liam Delap will be sidelined for several weeks, while coach Enzo Maresca also cannot count on Levi Colwill, Romeo Lavia, Benoît Badiashile, and several other key players. Cole Palmer has returned after a three-week break, but against Brentford he only came on in the second half. The London side dropped points in stoppage time of that match, and they already have two slip-ups in the Premier League, which could cost them a high finish.
Bayern is currently in a much better rhythm than their rivals. Their attacking play looks fluid, versatile, and almost unstoppable. It is especially interesting that their offensive line consists of players with Premier League experience, while on the bench they also have a current Chelsea player on loan in Munich, who will be extra motivated to prove himself against his former club. The visitors’ defense will face serious challenges on Wednesday night.
