Bayern are in excellent form since the start of the season, running a 20-1-1 record in all competitions. They are coming off a tremendous second half in Saturday’s 5-0 away win over Stuttgart, yet another match showing they have no real issues handling teams of this level.

Sporting are not a team to underestimate, but based on what we have seen so far, the home win could not reasonably be priced much higher than 1.25. The Portuguese side, however, are well-coached and possess clear attacking quality. They have scored in all five of their Champions League matches (11 goals total), and if they manage to contribute to the scoring, we get a 2.70 price on the combination of 1 + BTTS.

Bayern do have defensive gaps. They have kept only one clean sheet in their five Champions League matches, while conceding in six of their last seven games overall. They kept a clean sheet only last Saturday, where Stuttgart finished the match with ten players and still recorded 13 shots and 0.87 xG.
