Bundesliga: Borussia Dortmund vs Werder Bremen 13/01/2026

Betting on Corners
Tonight’s match in Dortmund looks ideal for a bet on more corners in the second half than in the first. Borussia Dortmund average around 5–6 corners per game this season, with most of them coming after the break, when the tempo and pressure clearly increase. In the opening 45 minutes, the hosts usually control possession without taking too many risks, which often results in just 2–3 corners.
The real pressure comes in the second half. Dortmund step up their wing play, push the full-backs higher, and start attacking in waves, which regularly produces 4–6 corners in the second half alone. Werder Bremen also fit this pattern well, as an away side, they tend to drop deeper after the interval and clear the ball under pressure, sending it out for corners more frequently.
Recent head-to-head meetings tell a similar story, with around 10 corners on average per game, and the second half usually providing the bigger share. All signs point to a stronger finish, making it a logical and well-supported bet that there will be more corners in the final 45 minutes than in the first half.
