Europa League Qualification: Braga vs Levski 31/07/2025
Betting on the Final Outcome
At first glance, this second-leg clash in the Europa League qualifiers should be a one-sided affair and an easy job for the Portuguese side.
However, the Bulgarian team is doing everything it can to prevent that, having managed to secure a positive result in the first leg on home turf. That match, to everyone’s surprise, ended goalless, so the return leg brings an active and open result. We’ll see whether that outcome was due to a poor performance from Braga or if Levski has more to offer in the rematch.
A Confident Braga Win Without Conceding
Braga is a highly experienced team that has consistently competed in Europe’s second-strongest club competition for nearly two decades, with occasional appearances in the Champions League. This season, their ambition is no different — they aim to secure a place in the Europa League group stage. In the first leg in Sofia, they slightly disappointed, failing to win or show even a glimpse of their true potential, but I expect them to rise to the occasion in the return leg.
In recent seasons, even much stronger teams than Levski have struggled at the Municipal Stadium, and I believe Levski’s players won’t find it easy either at this unique venue nestled in the cliffs. Anything other than a routine home win would be a major surprise. I don’t think we’ll see that scenario, and my prediction is a Braga win without conceding a goal.
