Champions League Qual: Breidablik vs Lech Poznan 30/07/2025
Combo Bet on Goals
If any Champions League qualifying tie is practically decided, it’s this one between the champions of Poland and Iceland. In the 28th minute of the first leg, it didn’t seem that way, as Breidablik equalized from the penalty spot.
However, what happened just five minutes later completely changed the course of the match. Margeirsson was shown a red card, and by the end of the first half, Lech had scored four more goals. They later extended their lead, and the game ended with a crushing 7–1 scoreline.
Why do I expect goals again?
To be fair, Breidablik’s defense was so porous that they could have easily conceded 10 goals in the first match. Lech dictated the tempo and dominated possession throughout most of the game, and I don’t expect that to change significantly in the return leg. What could change is that Breidablik might play a bit more bravely and try to create chances on the counter.
The Icelandic side has nothing to lose now – the pressure is gone, and I expect them to score at least once, with a total of 3 or more goals in the match overall. For those willing to take more risk, BTTS & Over 3.5 also looks like a solid option.
