Betting on the Winner

Brighton and Fulham will be aiming for a better finish this season compared to the last one, which they ended in eighth and eleventh place on the table, respectively. A strong end to the season and wins in four of their last five matches earned Brighton a solid position, and the impression is that they can have another successful campaign in a row.

On the other hand, the London side has been very passive when it comes to signings. Fulham has practically not brought in any new players and has lost Willian and Reiss Nelson. There is some quality in the squad, but they lack a few players capable of deciding a match with a single move.

Despite selling several players for significant sums every year, Brighton manages to remain in the top half of the Premier League table. I expect that to be the case again this season. The Amex Stadium will be a tricky away trip even for much stronger clubs than Fulham, so I expect the “Seagulls” to kick off the new season with a win.
