Paris Saint-Germain is a tremendous team. They dominate in France and will of course try to repeat last year’s Champions League triumph. The European champion’s schedule in the League Phase is what we’d call back home a real grind. Not the mild version — the brutal one. And a messy one, too. No matter if you’re PSG, when from Pot 4 you draw Athletic Bilbao and Newcastle, you can call it bad luck.

Even last year PSG didn’t finish in the top eight (if I remember correctly, they were 15th) and still went all the way to the title. For them to finish between positions 9 and 24 — meaning they would enter the intermediate playoff stage — pays 2.87 at 20-bet. Bring it on, even if PSG end up with 24 points from 8/8 wins. Betting is what we do, we’re making (personal) odds estimations here. Minimum fair odds for this should be 2.50.
