So Chelsea have ditched their manager again and bought in Liam Rosenier on a 6 year contract. It seems like an endless cycle here and I don’t know what kind of odds you would get on him still being anywhere near Stamford Bridge in six years time. I really like Rosenier as a coach, he’s a man who has shown real faith in youth and looked like he was working his way up. He has also shown he is pragmatic and will fall out with the hierarchy of clubs. He seems to top the bill though, in terms of a bad fit for Chelsea, especially as he’s not known for free flowing attacking football. However he is the first manager since 2016 to win his opening match in charge of Chelsea, after the 5-1 win over Charlton. A shocking statistic. While I don’t think Rosenier is going to be lasting that long as manager, I also think his winning run is going to be ending this weekend as well. Brentford seem to have stabilised since the start of the season, as bigger clubs picked off their players and manager. They are currently unbeaten in 6 games, and have managed to get past their troubles on the road. The first game between these two was an exciting 2-2 draw and I can see this result being repeated here in this one.
