The European semifinal of the Club World Cup is a high-profile clash, with the spotlight on Kylian Mbappé, who is likely to return to Real Madrid’s starting lineup for this match against his former team.

Alonso has been experimenting with defensive setups at Real, even using three center-backs, though he hasn’t yet found the reliability he’s looking for. Key center-back Hausen is suspended and will miss the game, but it seems the back-three system will remain unchanged.
