Pari is aiming to win a fourth trophy this season. They seem to have the best team in the tournament, though they’re not unbeatable. They show several weaknesses, especially at the back. Against Bayern, they once again created good chances, scored twice, but were also threatened quite a bit. They’ll be missing Patso and Hernández, who were sent off in the quarter final, but their attacking midfield will be at full strength. Their midfield trio, which has dominated in all their big games this season, is intact, and Dembélé has fully recovered from his injury.

Real Madrid has the quality to go toe-to-toe with PSG, but their overall form in the tournament hasn’t been entirely convincing. Aside from the fatigue affecting all European teams and the tough weather conditions, Real is still trying to adapt to the tactics of their new coach.

Xabi Alonso is testing different formations and trying to teach his players to play with a back three. It’ll clearly take time and work before things click on the pitch. So far, they haven’t faced any of the tournament’s top contenders, but they’ve had several stretches of good performance.

These close knockout games often end in a draw, but the French side rightly carries the favorite tag.
