Champions League Qual: Crvena Zvezda vs Lech 12/08/2025
Betting on Goals
After the first match in Poland, which ended with a victory for the Belgrade club, Crvena Zvezda is in a comfortable position to advance to the 4th qualifying round of the Champions League. From the very start, the red-and-whites imposed aggressive pressing on Lech’s back line, which resulted in an early goal and a 1–0 lead in the 9th minute. After that, the home team took the initiative and deservedly equalized, with the score remaining unchanged until halftime. In the second half, a much more determined Crvena Zvezda side took the pitch and, within the next half hour, scored two more goals for what turned out to be a final score of 3–1
Crvena Zvezda Finds Goals Easily
There is huge interest from Crvena Zvezda fans for this match, with over 40,000 spectators expected in the stands. Vladan Milojević rested his entire starting lineup from the first leg in the domestic league match against TSC, which Crvena Zvezda won 1–0, keeping his players fresh. Lech showed some attacking quality in the first leg, but also significant defensive weaknesses, as their back line plays quite high up the pitch. This was very noticeable in the first match and will be even more pronounced in the return leg, as they will have to chase a two-goal deficit. I expect plenty of space for Crvena Zvezda’s pacey wingers and, with good finishing, at least two goals in the visitors’ net.
