Last season Edinburgh were the surprise of the league, reaching the promotion playoffs despite being preseason favorites for relegation. This year, before being penalized with -15 points, the market rated them highly, offering @7.00 odds for the title.

They do look well structured, but with the -15 handicap they lack the squad to contend for promotion. So far they have a 3-1-1 record, with the second-best attack but the third-worst defense in the division.

East Kilbride showed from their first League Cup matches that they have a team ready for a second consecutive promotion. After an unexpected defeat in the opener, they responded with four straight wins, sitting top of the table and as clear bookmaker favorites for the title.

The clash with Edinburgh will not be easy, but their superiority in the league is already evident. The straight win at 1.75 is fair, but the bet becomes more attractive at 3+ odds when combined with BTTS. After all, these are the two most “rock and roll” teams of the division, with East Kilbride scoring heavily (11 goals in their last three league matches) but also leaving gaps at the back.
