EuroLeague: Efes vs Virtus Bologna 12/02/2026

Efes, playing at an accelerated pace and with growing confidence, host a weakened Virtus side, pointing toward an open game and a pronounced shooting battle.
Betting on Points
Despite a very poor EuroLeague season overall, Anadolu Efes have shown character and part of their true potential in the last two rounds. Wins over Valencia and Žalgiris did not significantly improve their position in the standings, as they remain among the lower-ranked teams in the competition, but those results could have a strong impact on team chemistry for the remainder of the season, both in Europe and in the domestic title race.
On the other hand, Virtus Bologna, with four defeats in their last five games, are gradually losing even the slim hope they had of reaching the play-in spots. Their most recent setback came in Piraeus, where Olympiacos were dominant in a 109-77 victory. The Italian side entered that game significantly weakened, without key players such as Matt Morgan and Alessandro Pajola, leaving them with virtually no realistic chance of upsetting the favorite.
Regarding this matchup, the expectation is for a game with lowered defensive intensity and a higher scoring output. Efes have noticeably increased their tempo in recent weeks, which clearly suits the profile of their roster. The visitors will have little choice but to respond in a similar fashion, especially as they are once again expected to be without the reliable Pajola, a point guard known for his strong defense and preference for controlled basketball. All signs point to a genuine shooting duel featuring Jordan Loyd, Saben Lee and Dozier on one side, and Carsen Edwards, Matt Morgan and their teammates on the other.
