Betting on Winner

A Madrid derby between two clubs with very good relations. Getafe has had a strong season so far and has largely abandoned its defensive style. Atletico is seeking stability — a new team with potential that is not yet fully shown on the pitch, although before the break it recorded an important run of four straight wins.

I expect Atletico to keep improving as time goes on, and here they visit a neighbouring ground where they traditionally perform well (except for last season’s 2-1 loss that hurt them, before which they had a 27-match unbeaten run across all venues against Getafe).

I will side with the better team that needs to remain close to the top and usually finds a way to win at this stadium. Fair price on the away win.
