EuroCup: Hamburg vs Bahcesehir 14/10/2025

Betting on Team Points
Hamburg is going through one of the darkest stretches in its recent history, counting the end of last season and the start of this one, the team is on a run of 12 consecutive losses, which currently makes them arguably one of the weakest sides in all of European competition. Despite that, the EuroCup continues to extend them an invitation, even though their performances and results hardly justify that trust. The start of the season has been particularly painful: two heavy defeats in the EuroCup against Hapoel Jerusalem and Aris, along with identical struggles in the German Bundesliga, where they have lost all four games and currently sit at the bottom of the table.
On the other side is Bahcesehir, a team entering the season with clear ambitions — to reach the EuroLeague through the EuroCup. The Turkish club’s management has built a respectable roster with depth and experience, ready to compete at the highest level. Their start to the campaign confirms that ambition — they defeated both Cluj and Venezia, and over the weekend also secured a domestic league win against Mersin.
The difference in quality between these two teams is massive, and it shows on both ends of the floor. Bahcesehir has demonstrated that they can play both fast and slow — effectively closing out games in an up-tempo rhythm as well as in low-scoring, defense-oriented battles. Hamburg will have serious problems creating open shots, and even more trouble converting them. The line set for the home team’s total points looks very high, and it’s doubtful they can surpass it.
