Just two days after another disaster and humiliation in the EuroLeague, Partizan will travel to Laktaši for a postponed Round 7 game of the ABA League.

Partizan are going through perhaps their most difficult period in the EuroLeague in the last two decades, but the situation in regional competition is quite different. The Black and Whites have suffered only one defeat in 12 ABA League games so far, and in the previous round they recorded a relatively comfortable away win against Studentski Centar. Still, there are serious questions about the team’s morale after the heavy loss to Olympiacos, a game they lost by almost 40 points.

In contrast, Igokea come into this matchup in much better spirits. The team from Laktaši is on a three-game winning streak, further boosted by a big victory over a strong Cluj side, achieved after overtime. Their latest signing, Nate Pierre-Louis, has already proven to be a very good addition.

I expect the home team to put in another competitive performance and offer strong resistance against a rival that currently looks out of form, with visible chemistry issues, often appearing as if everyone is playing for individual statistics.
