The reigning champions Liverpool rightly start this season again as the market’s top favorite for the title. However, their squad is somewhat unbalanced. They have incredible attacking quality (while also trying to sign Isak) but also issues in the center of defense.

Based on their roster and mentality, I do not expect them to win many matches with a “clean” scoreline. This was evident in the Community Shield final against Crystal Palace, where their opponent reached shooting positions very easily.

Bournemouth seems like the ideal partner for a very open game with chances on both sides. Strengthened offensively in the transfer window but weakened defensively, and always applying Iraola’s high pressing, they take risks and create problems even for the league’s top teams.

Liverpool are the 1.30 favorites in a match expected to be very open. The bet is that Bournemouth will also contribute to the scoring, boosting the combined bet’s odds to much higher levels.
