This season City did not start as the absolute favorite in every competition (third favorite for the Premier League title and seventh for the Champions League), but so far they have performed very well. With Haaland constantly scoring, they have a record of 9-2-1 since mid-September and 2-1-0 in the League Phase of the Champions League.

Dortmund, on the other hand, are once again a very competitive team. They will realistically fight for the “ceiling” of second place in Germany and will not be an easy opponent for anyone, even at the highest level of the Champions League.

City are the favorites here, but at odds below 1.50, the straight win offers no betting value. Combined with both teams to score, though, it rises to 2.50 levels.

Dortmund have great attacking quality — they have scored in all 14 official matches so far, and in the Champions League they have scored four goals in each of their games (away vs Copenhagen and Juventus, home vs Bilbao).
