Manchester City face Everton in a rare 3 o clock kick off for the blue half of Manchester against the blue side of the Mersey. Manchester City are coming into this in decent form with 3 wins and a draw after two surprise early season losses to Spurs and away at Brighton.  They let league leaders Arsenal score a late equaliser at the Emirates which was the only thing that stopped them having 4 straight wins. City can be devastating when they get in front against weaker opposition as they proved against both Wolves and Burnley already this term. Erling Haarland is always the first look as first goalscorer, and his tail will be up and well rested after being allowed home to rest after Norway’s only World Cup Qualifier. Goals from other players have been a little short so far this season though, so maybe see if one of the midfielders can chip in this week for better odds. Everton have been better this season than last and have former City man Jack Grealish to inspire them on Saturday. However their away form remains patchy and I can not see them challenging City in this one. They managed a 1-1 draw here last year, but I think the result will be closer to the 2-0 defeat they suffered at the back end of last season.

I am predicting goals for this one, Manchester City are not shy in going forward at home and they should pick off an Everton team who are poor away from home. Hedge your bets and do not get greedy, look at a +2.5 goals market to cover the over 3 goals in the game. I am confident this will come in comfortably and there is little to no value in backing a simple Man City victory.
