Championship: Middlesbrough vs Norwich 31/12/2026

Betting on Final Outcome
While their former manager is overseeing mission impossible in keeping Wolves up currently, Boro are doing a good job of making sure they exchange places with his team by winning promotion themselves. They sit in 2nd place, five points clear of 3rd-placed Ipswich and 3 off Coventry in top spot. This is off the back of a pretty strong run of form with four straight wins that include tonking both Preston and Southampton 4-0, and tight wins 3-2 and 2-1 over West Brom and Stoke City, respectively. They are looking solid and playing without fear after a miserable Christmas that briefly looked to have derailed them slightly. Still, they face a Canaries side that has suddenly burst into song over this weekend. Norwich are down in 18th, but they were in a much worse position when new man Philippe Clement took over in November. He has taken 24 points from a possible 42 since coming into the dugout and has the team playing some really great football. Their wins had mostly been against teams from the mid-table but the recent victories away at 6th place Wrexham and last week’s 2-1 home victory over top of the table Coventry means Boro will have their work cut out in this one. I can’t quite see Norwich turning Middlesbrough over away from home, but I also think the odds on Boro winning at around 1.70 are too short to contemplate. I think this is going to be a pretty even match-up between these two sides. I like the look of a both teams to score Yes bet as well for this one to be honest. But I just have a sneaky feeling this one is going to end up seeing honours end even and you can back a point apiece at 4.10 at 22Bet.
