Mjallby is not only repeating last season’s excellent campaign (5th place), but looking even stronger despite losing some key players in the transfer window. They currently lead the table, four points ahead of 2nd-place Hammarby and eight ahead of 3rd-place AIK, and seem capable of contending for the title.

Their form has stayed consistent. They ended the first part of the season with four wins and a draw in five games, and since the restart, they’ve recorded three wins and a draw (against Malmo).

Sirius, meanwhile, has regressed compared to last year and sits in 13th, level on points with Degerfors, in the relegation playoff spot. Their squad lacks depth, and they’ve taken just one point from four post-break matches — that point came against second-bottom Oster.

In top form and with excellent morale, league-leaders Mjallby look set to win comfortably against struggling Sirius.
