Where else to bet on goals during the summer if not on the lower Norwegian leagues, known for their high-scoring games and a great chance to make some money with a small stake? This Saturday features nearly a full round of matches in Norway’s second division, and I’ve singled out this matchup as the most realistic one for a proper goal fest.

Mjondalen are sitting at the bottom of the table with just 7 points so far. Skeid also have 7 points, but Mjondalen have conceded six more goals and scored three fewer than their rivals, which leaves them stuck in last place.

The visiting side has performed much better this season. With 22 points, they’re currently in third place, breathing down the necks of Lillestrom and Start, who occupy the two direct promotion spots.

Why go for goals here?

If we look back at Mjondalen’s recent home games, they’ve conceded 4, 2, 6, 4, and 3 goals in their last five matches. Their defense is in shambles, and Kongsvinger’s strong attack should be able to exploit that. Kongsvinger’s last two away games both ended 2-2. I expect at least 4 goals in this one, but it’s also worth trying a combo bet like Kongsvinger to win and over 2.5 goals, or even Kongsvinger to win and over 3.5 for the more adventurous.
