Betting on goals

A big match in the French league, with ambitious Monaco threatening the narrowly leading PSG. The champions always find it difficult in the Principality (they suffered three defeats between 2022–2024, conceding three goals each time).
However, the signs for the hosts are not good, as their defensive performance is getting worse. They have conceded 4 goals in each of their last two league matches and are coming off a 2-2 draw in Paphos, where they failed to hold a lead.

PSG has taken things rather lightly so far, with wide rotation by coach Enrique, but its attacking power is undeniable and evident domestically and in Europe (midweek 5-3 against Tottenham). At the same time, it shows many defensive gaps and gives opponents chances in every match.

Monaco plays naively but has the tools to score. Defensively, however, it will likely struggle a lot against the visitors.
An open match with many goals is expected, and the “both teams to score” + over 2.5 combination is well priced.
