The Swedish Allsvenskan is in full swing, and Round 16 marks the beginning of the second half of the season.

Norrkoping have been struggling for months and haven’t tasted victory since May 19, when they beat Sirius away from home. They’ve failed to win in the five league matches that followed.

Varnamo started the season disastrously, but recent performances hint at some improvement. That became clearer last round when they claimed their first win of the season, a 1-0 victory over Djurgarden at home.

It looks like the home team’s manager will stick with the 4-3-3 formation they bravely used against Malmo, even though they lost. The same goes for Varnamo, who will be boosted by their previous result.

So, why do I believe Norrkoping will win?

It’s hard to expect Varnamo to put in back-to-back strong performances. They’re a limited side, and Norrkoping simply must go all in against the team currently sitting bottom of the table. With only 2 points separating them from the relegation zone, the pressure is mounting, but the players are well aware of the importance of this match. That should be enough to push them over the line, expect a narrow home win, 1-0 or 2-1.
