EuroLeague: Partizan vs Barcelona 31/10/2025

Betting on the Winner
In one of the final games of EuroLeague Round 8, Partizan will host Barcelona. Both teams haven’t started the season the way they expected, making this clash crucial in their battle to get back on the winning track.
The Black and Whites are coming off two consecutive losses, including last night’s away defeat to Hapoel Tel Aviv, where once again the absence of a true point guard proved costly. The injury to Charlis Jones has seriously disrupted the team’s rhythm, and the second half in Israel saw a total collapse in their game. However, some important news came in the meantime — Nick Calathes is officially a new Partizan player. The experienced Greek is expected to bring stability to the offense and take control of the game until the injured players return.
On the other side, Barcelona managed to grind out a hard-fought but valuable win over Milan (74–72), somewhat redeeming themselves after a heavy loss to Žalgiris just five days earlier. Coach Peñarroya’s team has shown major ups and downs — capable of beating EuroLeague’s top teams, yet also surprisingly slipping up in the Spanish league against clear underdogs.
Partizan can’t afford another misstep in this matchup. The good news for the hosts is that Barcelona doesn’t have a backcourt that can consistently pressure the ball — a key weakness Partizan suffered from in losses to Paris and Hapoel. Also, the Catalans are not known for their three-point shooting reliability, so the Belgrade side will look to capitalize on home-court support in a packed Arena and secure their fourth win of the season.
