Premier League: Leeds vs Manchester City 28.02.2026

Leeds tend to play bravely and efficiently at home against top opponents, while City arrive in strong form and well-rested, which all points toward a dynamic match with goals at both ends.
Betting on Goals
In their return season to the Premier League, Leeds have been delivering fairly solid performances. Although they currently sit in 15th place and have not yet secured survival, the impression is that based on quality and overall play, they do not deserve relegation compared to some of their rivals near the bottom of the table. At home, they look stable, with only three defeats, and it is particularly notable that they have produced competitive displays against top sides.
On the other hand, Manchester City now have the opportunity to put pressure on Arsenal after two consecutive slip-ups from the Gunners. In the previous round, they struggled against Newcastle but still secured a 2–1 win, marking their fifth straight victory in all competitions. They had no European commitments this week, so they head to Elland Road fully prepared and well-rested.
Apart from two heavy defeats against Arsenal, Leeds have looked competitive and far from inferior against top-six teams this season. That was evident in their recent away draws against Aston Villa (1–1) and Chelsea (2–2), as well as in the first meeting with City at the Etihad, where they narrowly lost 3–2 to a late Phil Foden goal. It is clear that this team finds extra motivation in clashes with the strongest opponents, so I expect another intense and eventful match at Elland Road, with at least one goal on both sides.
