The big Manchester derby comes at a strange time for both clubs. City is clearly being “rebuilt” by Guardiola, who is rotating players in all positions in search of the right chemistry, which might not arrive soon.

Amorim has been living the same situation at United since last season, with current performances allowing cautious optimism.

Both teams will push for the win through attack, as their defenses look very vulnerable so far and unlikely to become reliable even long-term.
