I have written several times that Atletico Madrid, from a certain point last season onwards, often do not look like a Simeone team. Either Cholo changed philosophy (never…), or the players got tired of the defensive approach (maybe…), or he no longer has the same tools as in the past (certainly…), the fact is that Atletico struggle to sit deep, especially in big matches. Now they go to the Bernabeu without real motivation in the standings to face Real Madrid, who are giving everything to close the gap to Barcelona in the title race.
Atletico managed to concede five goals in two matches against Tottenham under Igor Tudor. Normally, when you concede five goals from that Tottenham side, you go to the federation, hand over the keys of the club and switch to curling.
To keep it short, I choose Over 2.75 @ 1.78. OK, it is a big derby, anything can happen, but their overall image points to goals.
