Wrexham should comfortably win against a Sheffield Wednesday side in terrible form, winless since September and goalless in their last seven matches. However, with Wrexham’s defense rarely keeping clean sheets, there is value in backing Both Teams to Score, especially with Wednesday likely overdue a goal and odds just over 2.00

Regular followers of my tips will probably notice a bit of a Wrexham theme with a fair few of their matches covered. I can’t help but be swept up inthe excitement of watching the club rise through the ranks, though and I’m sure I’m not the only one! Sheffield Wednesday fans are probably looking over more in jealousy than anything else though. Especially considering the amount of off-field issues they are having. They may now have a consortium ready to take over the club; however The Owls are in truly dire form as this match looms. They haven’t managed a win since 20th September (their only win of the season!), seeing 7 draws and 15 losses since that date! They are on -7 points, due to being in administration and are all but assured of being relegated to League One in April. They also haven’t managed a goal in their last 7 games in all competitions, so realistically, this is a game that Wrexham should be pretty much nailed on to win. The Robins are in decent health with only a shock home loss to Norwich blotting their copybook from the last 7 games, returning 5 wins and a draw other than that. I’m pretty confident they are going to comfortably win this one, though there is zero odds in that or any markets you can find unless you want to predict a correct score. I don’t want to do that but I’m ready to take a gamble on Sheffield Wednesday finally breaking their duck in front of goal in this fixture. Wrexham’s defence always looks like they will concede at some point and Wednesday must be due a goal.
