USA, NFL: Tennessee Titans – Los Angeles Chargers 02/11/2025

Handicap betting
The truth is that the gap between good and bad teams in the NFL gets bigger as the season goes on. That’s a fact for analysts and stats people. But in betting, especially in the NFL, anything can happen, so every game is different. I’m not a fan of big negative handicaps, meaning betting on heavy favorites. But sometimes the data leads me there. Last week we took Buffalo -7 away against Carolina, and they won by about 350 points.
Now I’ll take an even bigger negative handicap. In Nashville, Tennessee, they may have great music, but they definitely don’t have a good football team this year. Basically, right now the Titans are a mess. Defensively, they allow opponents 7.3 yards per attempt — something that a talented quarterback like Justin Herbert can easily exploit, and the Chargers could win this one comfortably.
The -9.5 is a big handicap — two scores — but everything points to the Chargers winning by 15+.
Chargers -9.5 is my pick.
